Summary of Concerns: Meeting Minutes Bill thanked Marc Haws for providing an example position description and work plan for a SAUSA. Marc indicated that the State of Nebraska has the most experience in hiring a SAUSA through counties. After talking with Sally Johnson, she indicated that in Nebraska, they have not been operating through a Memorandum of Understanding. He then contacted the Executive Office of the U.S. Attorney and they indicated that if there is a SAUSA operating for less than one year the history has been that no MOU’s have been used. However, if the term of the SAUSA is more than a year, then a MOU is recommended and that they would help him work out the language for the MOU in our circumstance. Marc stated he sent copies of a standard work plan and a position description for the last person they advertised for. Marc said he envisioned that the SAUSA would work out of their office. ****handheld counter 3:36 Meeting adjourned after discussion of assignments for the next meeting. |
